THE OPTIMIST by INSPIRAE
I saw a country in ruins and hails
But now I see a gradual transition in the mentality
And thinking of the citizens.
The Country was once great and brave
But, corrupt leaders and greed ruined its great!
I write this not of my own accord but of what I believe
And perceive and have foreseen and will witness
I will be patient until then.
On my part, I will rehab the few I can to see what I see!
To share in this dream
But it must be a concerted effort of those optimists
This country I saw is Nigeria.
A new era will begin
At dawn
When the sun is come.
